CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – “On our first visit to Campbellsville University with my Dad, I felt called to be here,” said May graduate Kayla Bradshaw from Greensburg, Ky. “After praying about it, I made CU my choice for college and it seems impossible that four years have gone by so quickly.”

In her Facebook post right before commencement, she wrote: “I’ve had an amazing experience at Campbellsville University. God blessed me with great professors and friends to get me through college.”

Bradshaw said her experiences at CU challenged her to be “a better Christian leader in this world, and I thank Jesus Christ for that.” Some of the challenges were presented to her in two separate mission trips to Haiti.

“Those trips were life experiences that I am so thankful for,” she said, “because the people there, especially the children, blessed my heart so much.” Back at her church, Oak Grove Separate Baptist in Green County, as well as on the CU campus, she said she recommended that every student take the opportunity to go on a mission trip. “You come home a changed person,” she said, “one who knows the real life blessings to be thankful for.”

Bradshaw said that CU is a place where the faculty and staff really do live the Christian values and morals written in the university’s mission statement, “teaching the things everyone should be taught ona day-to-day basis.”

She completed her undergraduate degree in healthcare business administration and will continue in her job as outreach librarian at Green County Public Library. She is the daughter of Bobby and Debbie Bradshaw and has a sister, Chelsea.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,600 students offering 63 undergraduate options, 17 master’s degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs. The website for complete information is campbellsville.edu.
