Campbellsville University to hear Larry A. ‘Fella’ Wilson at chapel

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.— Larry A. “Fella” Wilson, a chaplain with Campbellsville/Taylor County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), will speak at Campbellsville University’s Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m.

He is senior minister Campbellsville’s Woodlawn Christian Church where he has served since 2002.

The public is invited to attend chapel free of charge.

Wilson, in addition to serving with EMS as an emergency medical technician, serves on the Kentucky Community Crisis Response Team. Wilson is a licensed pilot and a skydiver; he is also an avid backpacker who has covered 1,100 miles of the Appalachian Trail.

Wilson earned his bachelor of arts in Bible and Christian ministries from Kentucky Christian University in 1985 and then went on to earn his master’s of ministry from KCU in 1993. Wilson has been a part of ministries in Maryville, Tenn.; Chaplin, Ky.; and Springfield, Ky.

Wilson is married to Sarah Wilson, a sixth-grade science teacher at Old Kentucky Home Middle School in Bardstown, Ky. The couple has two sons, Zachary, a freshman at CU; and Joshua, a student at Valencia College in Orlando, Fla.

Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.

All chapels are open to the public free of charge and are televised live on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10) and are streamed live on the Internet at www.campbellsville.edu/live-streaming.
