A Presidential Word
The Campbellsville Review represents a new creative opportunity for the faculty, staff, and friends of Campbellsville University. This new Christian liberal arts journal adds a new dimension to the scholarly dialogue, which has been taking place at Campbellsville for the institution's nearly 100 years. With the advent of this journal, the university enters into a more formal engagement of issues through scholarly discourse. Our intent is to enrich the academic program of the university and to enhance the opportunity for published work for staff, students, and distinguished friends.
We hope that you will find the inaugural issue to be meaningful and beneficial. It is the collective hope, of those of us who so desire to see this project grow and prosper, that serious scholarship is nurtured and supported by this endeavor. We also see this to be a forum for Christian perspectives across the various fields of study found at Campbellsville University and beyond.
We look forward to your reaction, critique, and suggestions as we carefully produce each volume. May God grant His grace on this important aspect of Christian service through education.
