About the MBA Program

The goal of the MBA program at Campbellsville University is to prepare students to play a leadership role in the rapidly changing, technologically advanced, global marketplace. Classes take place on weekday evenings (on campus) and online.

This degree serves the needs of those who have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree, as well as practicing professionals who want to further their educations to enhance their careers while contributing to their companies and to society as a whole.

 

Students will take 36 hours of 600-level coursework to complete the MBA - 27 hours of core coursework and 9 hours of electives. Each course is three credit hours.

There are four optional tracks available online in the MBA program at Campbellsville University.  Students can specialize their degree in the areas of:

• Information Technology
• Human Resource Management
• Marketing
• Healthcare Management

The On Campus MBA

In the on campus MBA, courses are offered in six academic terms throughout the year. Each term is eight weeks long.  The on campus program runs all year (including the summer). Three hours of course work per term is considered a full load. Students may choose to take up to two courses per term without special permission. Each course is currently offered on a weekday evening from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The required courses for the on campus program are identical to that of the online format.

• Grad Term 1: Early July through early September
• Grad Term 2: Early September through late October
• Grad Term 3: Late October through late December
• Grad Term 4: Early January through early March
• Grad Term 5: Early March through late April
• Grad Term 6: Late April through late June

The on campus MBA program features two start dates for first-time MBA students: Grad Term 1 in early July and Grad Term 4 in early January.

The Online MBA

The online MBA courses are offered in six academic terms throughout the year.  Each term is eight weeks long. The online program runs all year (including the summer). Foundation Courses for New Business Students

Students who do not have an undergraduate degree in a business field are required to have an academic background in the following areas: Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Statistics. Students may elect to take undergraduate courses or utilize the online MBA Primer.  The link for the MBA Primer is:
