Theater Department

Our Mission:

  • To enable students to succeed in academic and vocational pursuits.
  • To prepare students for a lifelong service to God and to the world through the perspective of theater arts.
  • To be a foundation in learning aspects of theater production, and to help students structure their talents for a possible career in theater.
  • To prepare students for a career utilizing artistic and/or technical aspects of theater.

Major/Minor Requirements:

  • Major: 30 hours minimum required
  • Minor: 21 hours minimum required

About Our Director:

Campbellsville University’s theater is currently under the direction of Starr Garrett. Ms. Garrett has received a B.A. in Theater Arts at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Palm Beach, FL and a MA in Communication with emphasis in Acting and Directing for Theater from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. She is currently seeking her MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College in Plainfield, VT.
