The University
Campbellsville was founded in 1906 by the Russell Creek Baptist Association. It is a private, comprehensive, coeducational university undergirded by a strong liberal arts component. Affiliated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention, Campbellsville is open to students of all denominations.

Campus
Our 75-acre campus is situated in the center of Kentucky, one-half mile from downtown Campbellsville, population 11,000. Another portion of our campus, Clay Hill Memorial Forest, is located just seven miles from campus. It is a 135-acre educational and research woodland that is being developed by our Division of Natural Science as a regional center for environmental education and research.

Location
Whether it’s quiet, natural surroundings you seek, or the faster pace of city life, our campus is ideally located amid peaceful Kentucky countryside, yet is just one and one-half hours from Louisville and Lexington, and two and one-half hours from Nashville. Campbellsville is located on KY 55/US 68 and can be reached from the north by way of the Bluegrass Parkway and from the south by way of the Cumberland Parkway. Beautiful Green River Lake, a 10,000-acre recreational state park, is just five miles from campus.

Academic Offerings/Accreditation
Campbellsville University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia, phone number 404.679.4501) to award the associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Campbellsville’s music program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). The teacher preparation program is approved by the Kentucky Department of Education for teacher education and certification. The Interstate Certification Project entitles the teachers graduated by Campbellsville and certified by Kentucky to be certified in other states. The Bacalaureate Social Work Program at Campbellsville University is accreditited by the Council on Social Work Education.

Housing
Nearly half of our student enrollment lives on campus in one of the six modern residence halls for men or women. All residence halls have laundry facilities; air-conditioned rooms; nearby parking lots, and phone, Internet, and cable TV accessibility in each room. Campbellsville University seeks to provide a clean, safe, comfortable living environment conducive to learning and relating.

Financial Aid
Over 90% of our students receive financial aid in the form of academic scholarships, grants, loans, and student employment opportunites. In addition to traditional financial aid offerings, the University offers assistance programs that are church-related and endowed scholarships. Performance grants are tailored toward students pursuing studies or participating in art, drama, journalism, music and athletics.

Athletics
Affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Campbellsville’s intercollegiate athletic program is a member of the Mid-South Conference. The university offers various intercollegiate teams: Men’s Football, Basketball, Baseball, Golf, Tennis, Cross Country, Soccer, and Wresting. Women’s Basketball, Softball, Volleyball, Golf, Tennis, Cross Country, Soccer, and Co-ed Cheerleading.
