Abel Turner Harding

January 14, 1922 - July 19, 1993

Mr. Harding attended Russell Creek Academy from 1st grade through his junior year of high school.   He graduate from Campbellsville Junior College in 1946.   Mr. Harding served his country for 5 years during World War II and he played on the town baseball team as the catcher.   Mr. Harding was retired from Commonwealth Life Insurance Company.   He was named Mr. Athletic Booster in the 70's.   Mr. Harding generated thousands of dollars through contributions from local businesses and individuals.   He worked tirelessly for our program and is to be congratulated for his unselfish devotion to all phases of our program.
