Billy B. was a two year starter in basketball at Campbellsville College.   He also played baseball.   He was part of the Campbellsville team that went to national Junior College tourney in Hutchinson, KS.   Billy B. also set a 2 year scoring record for the Kentucky Junior College Conference in 1980.   He also coached basketball for 17 years at Taylor County High School where he averaged 17.5 wins per year.   He served as the school's Athletic Director for five years.   Billy B. is a Past President of the Kentucky High School Coaches Association, having held that position in 1975.   He served two separate terms as a director of the Campbellsville-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce and was Campbellsville-Taylor County Citizen of the Year Runner-up in 1975.   He received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Campbellsville University in 1980. He has also served two terms on Taylor County Hospital Board of Directors and has served on the College Board of Advisors.
