He was named NAIA District 32 "Player of the Year" and NAIA Honorable Mention. All American in 1980. James was All KIAC 1979, 80 & 81. "Player of the Year" in the KIAC in '81. Single Season: 5th with 581 points., rebounds 1st, 2nd, 9th. Career: Rebounds 1st 1350 pts., 3rd 1725 pts. A devoted Christian. Boulware can best be described by his comment at the last Tiger victory party of the 1981 season. "I want to thank the Lord for giving me the ability to play basketball." James is a Pastor in Altoona, PA pastoring The Bread of Life Fellowship Church.
