Ginger High Colvin
Ginger High Colvin entered Campbellsville College in the fall of 1987 and immediately
established herself as a leader and outstanding basketball player, making the
All Conference team her freshmen year. During her tenure at Campbellsville College
Ms. Colvin became a member of the 1000 Point Club, scoring 1420 career points
and she set the career assists record with 865 career assists. In addition,
Ms. Colvin career assists average of 8.2 assists per game broke the NAIA national
record.
In her senior year alone, Ms. Colvin was selected as an NAIA All American named
Player of the Year in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and Player
of the Year for District 32 of the NAIA. In addition Ms. Colvin became one of
only three players on the history of the Lady Tigers program to be named to
the All Conference team all four years of her college career.
Upon graduation Ms. Colvin accepted a position with the Campbellsville Independent
School System teaching at Campbellsville Elementary School and coaching the
Campbellsville High School women's basketball team. Ginger High Colvin is married
to Robert Colvin and she continues to serve as an assistant coach for the Campbellsville
University's Lady Tigers.
