Athletic Training
The Campbellsville University Athletic Training Department allows for the education and the development of clinical experience for the student worker in the athletic training setting. As a Student Worker, you would be responsible in helping the day-to-day operations in the Campbellsville University Athletic Training Room as well as completing special tasks as needed. Also, each Student Worker is assigned to a sports team in which they would assist in daily coverage of practices and games. This experience is an excellent way to develop relationships and prepare you for possible entry into an entry level Master’s Degree program in Athletic Training. Please note that the Campbellsville University Athletic Training Department is NOT ACCREDITED by CAAHEP; however, the Campbellsville University Athletic Training Department does offer both work-study and performance grants to the Student Workers in the Athletic Training Room. The pay scale for work-study applicants is based upon eligibility while performance grant amounts are based upon experience, demonstrated skills, and commitment to the Campbellsville University Athletic Training Program. If interested in becoming a Student Worker in the Campbellsville University Athletic Training Room, please contact Head Athletic Trainer Derek Port; djport@campbellsville.edu or Assistant Athletic Trainer James Nichols; jdnichols@campbellsville.edu. |
