LADY TIGERS DEFEAT HARRIS-STOWE 70-59 BEHIND 28 POINT PERFORMANCE BY FRESHMAN COURTNEY DANIS

Campbellsville, Kentucky -  Campbellsville’s Lady Tigers used a game high performance of 28 points by Courtney Danis (FR/Mt. Sterling, KY) to defeat Harris-Stowe State College (MO) 70-59 this afternoon in the second round of the Holiday Inn Express Holiday Hoops Classic.

Danis’ 28 points tied her collegiate career single game scoring mark of 28 points that she set in a game against Bethel College on December 1st.

Campbellsville built a 16 point first half lead and led 38-26 at halftime.  The Lady Tigers would extend the lead to 21, 61-40 with 6:24 remaining to play but the Lady Hornets of Harris-Stowe would get no closer than nine points in the closing minutes of the game.

Campbellsville shot 44.9% for the game as Danis was the only Lady Tiger in double digit scoring. 

The Lady Tigers are now 8-5 and will play in the Shawnee State (OH) Classic in Portsmouth, Ohio on December 28th.
