players

named
to
the
NAIA
Region
XI
All-Region
teams
this
week.
Named
to
the
First
Team
All-Region
were
Kelly
Vooris
and
Amanda
Martin.
Vooris,
a
sophomore
pitcher
from
Hopkinsville,
Kentucky
has
pitched
in
31
games
for
the
Lady
Tigers
this
season
and
currently
has
a
record
of
20-8.
She
has
an
ERA
of
.073
and
has
pitched
192.1
innings
and
recorded
183
strike
outs.
Vooris
has
given
up
39
runs
and
only
27
walks
on
the
season.
Martin,
a
junior
from
Louisville,
Kentucky
has
played
in
all
48
games
for
the
Lady
Tigers
this
season.
She
has
a
batting
average
of

and
has
54
hits
in
153
appearances
at
the
plate.
She
has
scored
28
runs
on
the
year.
Named
to
the
Second
Team
All-Region
were
Michelle
Baker

Amanda
Nuyt.
Baker,
a
sophomore
from
Lexington,
Kentucky

appeared
in

for
the
Lady
Tigers
as
catcher.
She
has
a

of

and
has
had

in

bats.
Nuyt
is
a
junior
from
Louisville,
Kentucky
and
has
played
in
all

Lady
Tiger
games
this
year.
She
has

batting
average
of

and
has

hits
in
162
at
bats.
