MEN’S BASKETBALL WINS THIRD STRAIGHT GAME IN 78-63 WIN OVER MADONNA UNIVERSITY

Huntington, Indiana – The Campbellsville University Tiger Men’s Basketball team won it’s third straight game tonight by defeating Madonna University (MI) in the first game of the Ness Brothers Hall of Fame Classic at Huntington College.  

The Tigers shot 49% and were 11 of 20 from the three-point line.  Three players paced a balanced scoring attack for Campbellsville.  Bubba Long (SR/Owensboro, KY) led the way with 19 points, Nestor Colmenares (JR/Caracas, Venezuela) had his third double/double of the season with 18 points and 14 rebounds, and Marcus Nicks (JR/Ellicott City, MD) had 12 points in the win.

Campbellsville improves to 3-1 with the win and he Tigers advance into tomorrow afternoon’s Championship game against the Huntington University Foresters who easily defeated Kuyper College (MI) in the nightcap.
