TIGERS GET BACK ON TRACK WITH 85-76 WIN OVER CINCINNATI CHRISTIAN
Pikeville, KY – The Campbellsville Tiger Men’s Basketball team got back on the winning track tonight in Pikeville with an 85-76 win over Cincinnati Christian University.
Campbellsville shot 55% for the game but allowed Cincinnati Christian to shoot 51%, including 14 of 32 from the three-point line.
The Tigers got balanced scoring with five players reaching double digits. Marcus Nicks (JR/Ellicott City, MD) led the way with 15 points while Deveon Jenkins (JR/Chicago, IL) and Clint Graham (SR/Campbellsville, KY) both added 12 points each. Nestor Colmenares (JR/Caracas, Venezuela) scored 11 points and Troy Harris (JR/Georgetown, KY) had 10 as the Tigers improved to 4-2 on the season.
The Tigers were scheduled to play Ohio Christian College tomorrow in the Pikeville Classic, however that team withdrew from the event. Campbellsville will apply to the NAIA for a forfeit win over Ohio Christian.
Campbellsville’s next game is in the Lou Cunningham Classic on Friday, November 23rd when the opponent will be 4th ranked Faulkner (AL) University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
