LADY TIGERS LOSE 70-69 IN OVERTIME TO MCKENDREE

Columbia, KY - The Campbellsville Lady Tigers fell to 4-2 with a 70-69 overtime loss this afternoon against McKendree University in a game played at Biggers Sports Center in Columbia, Kentucky.

McKendree led the entire game until Campbellsville forced the overtime at 61-61.  However, the Lady Bearcats overcame 28 turnovers in the game to hold on to get the one point win.  It was McKendree’s second straight overtime win as defeated Lindsey Wilson last night in two overtimes.

Three Lady Tigers were in double figure scoring led by the 16 points of Priscila Alves (SR/Sao Paulo, Brazil).  Courtney Danis (FR/Mt. Sterling, KY) added 15 points and Meagan Murphy (JR/Liberty, KY) had 10 points.

Campbellsville now travels to Jackson, Tennessee to take on the NAIA’s top ranked team Union University on Monday.  Game time is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
