TIGERS ROLL TO SIXTH STRAIGHT WIN WITH 92-63 WIN OVER URBANA

Warsaw, Kentucky – The Campbellsville University Tiger men’s basketball team scored a season high 92 points in running their record to 9-2 with a 92-63 win over Urbana (OH) University tonight in a game played at Gallatin County High School.

Campbellsville built a big lead early and led 45-23 at halftime after shooting 60% in the first half.  The Tigers continued to click offensively in the second half and shot 56.9% for the game while holding Urbana to 41.5%.  Campbellsville had 23 turnovers.

For the second consecutive game, all fourteen Tiger players scored with four players scoring double digit points.  Nestor Colmenares (JR/Caracas, Venezuela) led Campbellsville with 16 points while Bubba Long (JR/Owensboro, KY) and Deveon Jenkins (JR/Chicago, IL) both had 13 points.  Shawn Savage (FR/Bowling Green, KY) had ten points for the Tigers.

Campbellsville hosts Asbury College at 7:30 on Tuesday night.
