LADY TIGERS GET BACK ON WINNING TRACK WITH 79-59 WIN OVER CENTRAL BAPTIST

McKenzie, TN – The Campbellsville University Lady Tigers snapped a three game losing skid by defeating Central Baptist (ARK) 79-59 in the first game of the Bethel College Classic this evening.

Campbellsville broke open a tight game after leading 37-31 at halftime, despite just shooting 21.1% in the second half and 1 of 17 from the three point line on the night.   However, the Lady Tigers won the game from the free throw line by shooting 25 of 31 in the second half and 36 of 46 for the game.

Sara Sexton (JR/Elizabethtown, KY) led Campbellsville with 16 points and Priscila Alves (SR/Sao Paulo, Brazil) added 13 as Campbellsville improved to 5-3.

The Lady Tigers are scheduled to play Bethel tomorrow afternoon.  Campbellsville defeated the Lady Wildcats 94-73 in the season opener on November 2nd in the Powell Athletic Center.
