Title: Broadcast Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

a). This is a fulltime position, but will primarily be responsible for covering weekends and

holidays.

b). Ability to work from technical manuals with assistance from equipment manufacturers.

c). Ability to provide studio and transmitter back-up maintenance.

d). Ability to be “on call”. Frequent overtime, emergency call-outs. Varying hours.

e). Requires individual dedicated to quality maintenance and willingness to stick to a job until

completed.

f). Ability to use hand tools to perform various Building Maintenance tasks required.

g). Maintain ALL plant, facilities, transmitter and various support equipment.

Position: Full-Time (Full-Time/Part-Time/Contract)

Desired

Requirements:

a) Must be skilled in areas of broadcast equipment maintenance.

b) High school diploma and 2 years Associate Degree in electronics or Equivalent College.

c) Experience in radio, production, CATV, two-way radio, industrial electronics will be

considered.

d) Must be proficient with computers and editing equipment. (Micro Soft certification

desired).

e) FCC General Class License or SBE Certification desired.

f) Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
