Homecoming queen candidates needed
The Student Government Association is excited about what God has in store for us during this next academic school year. We would like to wish you well as the year begins and fill you in on a few upcoming events around campus.
The annual Homecoming festivities are quickly approaching. Homecoming will be October 4-5 this year, with the theme being “There’s No Place Like Homecoming.’’ Therefore, the SGA is in the beginning stages of planning for the crowning of Homecoming Queen and the Homecoming parade. We ask that each of you, advising a club or organization, submit a candidate for Homecoming Queen to us by Friday, September 13. If you choose to enter a candidate, your club will need to present a float in the Homecoming Parade. After we have compiled a list of all of the candidates, we will email them with more information.
When submitting your candidate, please include their name, club they are representing, email address, and phone number.
Come to Welcome Back Festival
With the new academic school year approaching, the Student Government Association, wants to insure your club gets the recognition it deserves.
Once again, this year, Student Services is having a Welcome Back Festival on the Finley Football Field on Monday, August 26 starting at 5 p.m. If you would like for your club to set up a table, please respond to this email by August 19. Please let us know if your display will require an electrical outlet.
Thanks so much and God Bless!
