$5,000 Student Opportunity! Appalachian IDEAS Network Showcase

Would you like to help your students become successful entrepreneurs while unlocking the economic potential of Appalachian communities? Would you like for your team’s idea to be funded up to $5,000 from the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation?

If you answered, yes, you should nominate both individual students and teams into the Appalachian IDEAS Network Showcase by March 29, 2013. This showcase will allow the students to learn how to cultivate, pitch their ideas, and earn money for their business. The event will be held on April 12th and 13th at Berea College (Berea, KY).The nominated team or individual must have a designated faculty mentor and one page business plan (a sample is attached). You may register the student teams here [http://www.berea.edu/epg/ains-registration/] and check out more information on the Berea College Appalachian IDEAS Network page.
