Campus Announcements -- Jan. 16, 2014

You are invited to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Worship Service

This is a reminder of CU's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Worship Service scheduled for Wednesday evening, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. in the CU Ransdell Chapel. This will be a great opportunity to come together as a community to worship, hear great preaching and music, and once again commit to continue to working together, across racial and ethnic lines, to move our campus, community, state and nation forward in unity – and to be reminded once again of the important work at hand to truly fulfill the dream, and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Rev. Matthew Smyzer, CU trustee/pastor of Beargrass Missionary Baptist Church/Supt. of Missions for Central District Association of Baptists/Executive Director of the Baptist Fellowship Center of Louisville, will speak. Dr. Forrest Harris, president of American Baptist College, was scheduled to speak and cannot come due to health reasons.

Please join us for this community service sponsored by Campbellsville University and Greater Campbellsville United.

Call the Office of Church and External Relations at (270) 789-5520 or email sddouglas@campbellsville.edu or jechowning@campbellsville.edu, if you have questions or need of additional information. We hope to see you on Wednesday evening, Jan. 22! May God bless you in His service.
