Valentine Pageant information
Dear Club Advisors and Student Leaders,
Campbellsville University’s Student Government Association will be hosting the annual Valentine Pageant, Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at 7 p.m. in Ransdell Chapel.
All active clubs on campus have the option to elect a candidate to participate in the pageant. The candidate must be a female, full-time student with at least sophomore standing and a GPA of at least 2.5.

All nominations must be received by Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at 4 p.m. Please include the name of the club nominating, name of participant, participant’s GPA, classification, and contact information including phone number and e-mail.
Participation in the pageant includes:
Mandatory introductory meeting: TBA
Interviews—Sunday, Feb. 3rd at 2 p.m.
Practices: Monday Feb. 4th-Wednesday Feb. 6th-Times TBA
Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, Feb. 7th at 7 p.m.
Valentine Pageant: Friday, Feb. 8th (call time TBA)
Participants will compete under the categories of interview, talent, poise, and evening gown.

Study place during finals week
St. Mark United Methodist Church, 400 Meader St., would like to provide a study place for CU students during finals week. Internet will be available. They would be open from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.
MLK speaker tonight
Campbellsville University is sponsoring Dr. C.B. Akins Sr.,senior pastor at First Baptist Church Bracktown in Lexington, Ky., as the speaker for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Service tonight at 7 o’clock in Ransdell Chapel. United to Praise, a Campbellsville University gospel group comprised of CU students, will have special music. Chapel credit is given to students.
