You are invited — baby shower for Andrew and Sarah Ward

Everyone is invited to a baby shower for Andrew Ward, director of student activities and intramurals, and his wife, Sarah, Sunday, Jan. 13 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Vineyard, 105 Pleasant Drive, Campbellsville, The Wards are having twin girls later this month. They have registered to help us know what all they need with this round of daughters. You can shop online or in-store at Target, Walmart and Landofnod.com. Coming in January! -- Backpacks and Diaper Bags and HOPE

Counseling Services will resume our support group, Backpacks and Diaper Bags, for students who are parents. We will also be starting HOPE Group for those who have old hurts, habits or hang-ups that get in the way of daily life. Backpacks and Diaper Bags will meet on Thursdays from 12:30 p.m.--1:30 p.m. HOPE Group will meet Wednesdays from 2 p.m.--2:50 p.m. Contact Rebecca Price, clinical counselor, at 789-5092 or rhprice@campbellsville.edu.

Ride needed to Louisville Wednesday

Mrs. Margaret Williams is from Belize who has traveled with her daughter to get her settled into Campbellsville University. She needs a ride to Louisville this Wednesday to catch her flight on Thursday. The taxi ride is cost prohibitive. If there is someone who can take her on Wednesday, please call: 1-760-468-1969. Drug and Alcohol free seminar is Tuesday

The Louisville Education Center is hosting a free seminar on drug and alcohol addiction Tuesday, Jan. 8. The training is geared toward those dealing with addicted persons in the Criminal Justice System, but students are invited to attend as well. The seminar, which includes a free lunch, is sponsored by Kentucky Peace Officers’ Association and is presented by SelfRefined. The seminar is from 8 a.m. until noon. A flier is attached.
