Fighting Cancer
Color To Conquer 5K-Dash-Walk is Saturday, March 16 at 8:30 a.m. in Miller Park.Join us in our effort to get our community active in fighting obesity and conquering childhood cancers. Campbellsville University needs to form a team and join the many churches, businesses and school systems who have accepted the challenge to be there. This “Color” event is a first of its kind in a community our size. Come experience the Color Splash Zone. If you don’t want powder splashed then come participate and bypass the Zone. Pre-register by March 7 and Walk for $20 or Run for $35. Cost goes up $5 after then. All proceeds benefit St. Baldrick’s pediatric cancer research. Every three minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer. 33% of our kids are classified obese. Let’s help conquer both by being active. Contact Donna Wise. You can pick up forms in Hawkins Athletic Complex lobby.
