Color Guidelines
The official Campbellsville University colors are maroon and gray.
When printing the Campbellsville University colors, the Pantone® designation for the Campbellsville University maroon is PMS 202C and the Campbellsville University gray is Cool Gray 5c. Care must be taken when specifying a color for the Campbellsville University maroon and gray in other media (for example, when rendered any way other than in ink on paper). Contact the Office of University Communications (270) 789-5213, for assistance in choosing the appropriate maroon and gray for imprints, garments, or other specialty applications.
Follow these instructions for setting colors in Microsoft Publisher:
Select Format > Color Schemes > Creat new color scheme. Under Main - choose the down arrow and select more colors. Choose Pantone® tab > Color type: Solid Coated > type Pantone® 202 and click OK. Repeat the same process for additional colors such as Pantone® Cool Gray 5C.
Follow these instructions for setting colors in Adobe InDesign:
Select swatches palette > Click icon with down arrow and select new color swatch > Color Type = Spot > Color Mode = Pantone® Solid Coated > Choose Pantone® 202. Repeat the same process for additional colors such as Pantone® Cool Gray 5C.
Follow these instructions for setting colors in Adobe Illustrator:
Select swatches palette > Click icon with down arrow and select Open Swatch Library > Color Books > Pantone® Solid Coated > Choose Pantone® 202. Repeat the same process for additional colors such as Pantone® Cool Gray 5C.
Official University uniforms, vehicles, signs and other key identity elements must always be produced using the official color palette of maroon and gray.
