Dr. Sandy Kroh is an associate professor at Campbellsville University where she directs the English as a Second Language Institute, the ESL Endorsement Programs and the MA in TESOL Program. When not pursuing her passion of teaching, she enjoys traveling, reading and gardening. Her favorite pastime is chasing after her two dogs, Jasmine, and Murphy.

Andrea Giordano serves as the Assistant Director of ESL for Campbellsville University. She received her M.Ed. in TESOL from Shenandoah University, and has been happily teaching ESL for 5 years. Andrea also runs a video-centered ESL website, www.ESLbasics.com. She is married to a talented cyclist/baker/craftsman named Mike and is expecting her first child this fall. |

Maryann Matheny moved to Kentucky from Rhode Island in 2004. She lives with her husband Ed on a farm near Summersville, with her horses, five dogs and one cat. Maryann received a BA in Communication, together with her teaching certification from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. In 2008, Maryann graduated from C.U. with her MATESOL degree.

Raquel Cunha works as secretary to the ESL Institute of Campbellsville University. She has thirteen years of experience as a secretary, a Bachelor's Degree in Secretarial Studies, and a Post-Graduate degree in Social Communications. She is married to Tony Cunha, an associate professor and associate-dean of the School of Music, and together they raise three children. Raquel loves interacting with others. |

Ashley Boyd is an MATESOL student at Campbellsville University, where she also graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a minor in Spanish. She enjoys to learn about other cultures and languages, cooking, and community service projects. Ashley has volunteered and worked as an ESL teacher with several programs. After graduating with an MA in TESOL, Ashley plans on teaching adult ESL in the United States. |

Adrienne Butler serves as an ESL instructor and works as the Assistant to the Director of Campbellsville University’s Career and Disability Services. She has her undergraduate and master’s degree in Social Work from Campbellsville University, as well as a certificate in TESL/TEFL. Adrienne has traveled to several countries, and taught English in Ukraine the summer of 2009. |

Lyudmyla Ivanyuk is a second-year graduate student seeking her Master's degree in TESOL. Before joining the ESLI in 2010, she taught for four years in the English language department of her almamater, the Kyiv National Linguistic University (Ukraine). In addition to her baccalaureate and specialist's degrees from KNLU, she has earned her Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership at Northwest Nazarene University. Her academic interests include teaching reading and writing skills to international students.

Travis is the ESLI’s only Campbellsville native. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Ministries from Campbellsville University in 2008. Currently, Travis is finishing a degree in Spanish and working on his Masters in TESOL. He has traveled in Africa, Europe, and spent extensive time in Latin America (specifically Peru). Travis’ personal belief is that if a language is made personal to a student then it is an easier and more "fun" way to learn.

Xiaoying Li has been teaching English for 12 years and is currently in her second year of the MATESOL program at C.U. Xiaoying holds a bachelor’s degree of English Teaching from Beijing Normal University and has taught over 700 students over the past 12 years. She always strives to help her students experience a sense of success and happiness in learning English.

Edwina Rowell

Edwina received her Bachelor of Music in Education from Murray State University, her Master of Religious Education from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and her ESL certification from C.U. She has studied both French and the Mossi tribal language, Moore. Edwina has taught in public and private schools, served as Minister of Ed. in several churches, and lived as a missionary in West Africa for 15 years. Edwina also serves as Site Coordinator for Campbellsville University Christian Women's Job Corps. |

Tess Turner is a native of Franklin, KY and graduated from Campbellsville University in 2010 with a B.S. in Art and is currently studying in the Masters of TESOL program at C.U. The majority of her prior teaching experience came from teaching English in Senegal while working with the International Mission Board. She speaks Pulaar and Spanish and hopes to learn many more. |
