Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp seeks a General Manager for its classical, jazz, and NPR public radio station, located in Muskegon County in West Michigan (WBLV 90.3, and WBLU 88.9 FM). The GM position includes full management responsibilities, including:
· serving as the primary spokesperson of the station
· developing and managing an annual budget
· serving as the lead fundraiser, including securing corporate sponsorships and underwriting
· overseeing delivery of quality programming in keeping with the organization's mission
· managing a staff of full-time employees, and volunteers
The ideal candidate for this position will be positive, energetic, entrepreneurial, and effective as an advocate for the organization within the community.
Blue Lake Public Radio's General Manager reports to the organization's Vice President for Operations and the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp is a non-profit summer school of the arts, established in 1966, which annually serves nearly 7,000 students through educational programs in music, art, drama, and dance.
