International Students Admission


Admissions Process
Campbellsville University is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant international students. Such students will take the following steps to gain admissions to the University:

  • Submit a completed APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION (Graduate and Undergraduate) by email to international@campbellsville.edu or by mail to:

  • $100 enrollment fee is required.
  • If you are already in the United States and attending another university, you will also need to submit a Transfer Form.
  • Take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), and arrange for the official score report to be sent to Campbellsville University. The minimum acceptable TOEFL scores for undergraduates are 500 paper-based, 173 computer-based and 61 internet-based TOEFL. The minimum acceptable TOEFL score for graduate students are 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based and 79-80 internet-based TOEFL. The University's code is 1097.

  • Undergraduate applicants from English speaking countries must take either the ACT or SAT examination, and arrange for the official score report to be sent to Campbellsville University.

Graduate students must take the GRE for entrance into all programs except the Masters of Music. Masters of Music Students must take a test as instructed by the School of Music.

  • Arrange for the Office of Admissions to receive an official and final transcript for all courses attempted and completed in secondary school (equivalent of U.S. high school).
  • Arrange for the Office of Admissions to receive official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously and currently attended. You will be required to have your transcripts evaluated by World Educational Services.

When notified of provisional acceptance, an international student will send to the Office of Admissions and a bank statement equal to the cost of one year's tuition, fees, room, meals, and estimated personal expenses.
This is a United States government requirement that allows the student to demonstrate financial support. Upon receipt of the bank statement, Campbellsville University will issue the I-20 form needed by the individual to obtain a student visa. In subsequent years, students have been allowed to pay tuition and fees on a university payment plan.
