As part of the educational experience at Campbellsville University, the Department of Human Performance encourages students to serve internships and/or shadow professionals in their field of interest. Those pursuing the Sport Leadership track or Athletic Coaching Minor have served a variety of internships in educational settings, professional sport venues, recreational facilities and with athletic programs. They have gained first-hand knowledge under the tuteledge of athletic directors, coaches and sport/recreation facility managers. Students who have chosen the Sport Medicine track have performed clinical internships and/or shadowed physical therapists, athletic trainers, physicians assistants, and physicians.
