Dr. Jason Garrett, Professor of Communication, has taught at Campbellsville University since 2003. Garrett received his B.A. in Theatre Arts from Lees-McRae College in 1998 and received his M.A. in Communication in Cinema/Television in 2001 and his Ph.D. in Communication in 2008 from Regent University. He has won several awards for his short films including a Silver Telly Award and a Gold Remi Award. His feature film To Fly has screened to film festival audiences in North America, Europe, Africa, and Australia.
Garrett has also worked with Hope Communications in Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Poland to produce documentaries and promotional videos for local missionaries.
He is married to Starr Garrett, Director of the Theater Department at CU, and the proud father of two boys, August and Everest.
