Faculty Circulation Policies
The faculty loan period is one calendar year. If you should check out an item and get a loan period shorter than one year, have the assistant check to see if your user account needs to be extended. User accounts usually expire after 5 years to help encourage updating of personal information, such as phone numbers and UPO numbers.
Faculty are not charged fines, and therefore do not receive overdue notices. This makes it extremely important for faculty to return library materials as soon as finished. Otherwise, the library system may move a long overdue item into the "LOST" category.
Instead of overdue notices, Sandra Riggs will generate a report of faculty charges and send out lists to individuals at least twice an academic year.
Patty McDowell is in charge of Circulation. If you have any difficulties, or believe that an item on your account has been returned, please contact her.
