Tim Hooper is our Archivist and Music Librarian.  He also does all our original cataloging.  He enjoys cataloging new materials for music and special collections. 

Tim's newest and most extensive project is managing the digital conversion of archive materials in audio and visual formats.  He is working with a private company to develop a digital management system for our archival image collections.  Tim is highly skilled in scanning and conversion methods.

Tim is also an adjunct instructor in the school of music. 

Fall of 2008, Tim will also teach sections of the Freshman Year Experience class.

Tim has his Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Kentucky.  He also has a Master of Church Music degree from Campbellsville University.

He is originally from Henderson, KY.

Tim is very involved in music ministry, and has served churches in Campbellsville, Greensburg, and Danville, Kentucky.  He is currently Intentional Interim Music Minister at Stithton Baptist Church in Radcliff, KY.

 

Tim directs the highly popular CU Sound men's singing group, pictured at the 2007 "Christmas Tapestry."
