For the Community: Homeschooling & Homework Questions

While Montgomery Library does not specifically collect Homeschooling Materials, many of our Reference resources on the 1st floor would be extremely helpful for answering questions.

Our most valuable resource for homeschoolers is our Teacher Learning Resource Center, located in the Library basement.   There you can find children's books, activity books, and school textbooks. 

 

Not everything circulates, so you may have to make copies of some items.  See Information about getting a Community Borrower's Card.

Commercial sites reflect a particular philosophy or bias and contain advertising. However, many of their resources can be helpful.  Evaluate commercial sites carefully with your needs in mind.

There are many, many websites on the Internet for homework help and learning activities.  Rather than create a large list, here are just a few links, and advice on evaluating information.
