Western Kentucky

Lindsey Hammers

Hi, I'm Lindsey,

I am the Admissions Counselor for the Western Kentucky area. Deciding what college you are going to attend can be the hardest decision—and one of the most important decisions that you will make. Don’t fret! I’m here to help! I enjoy working with people and really like to see them grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually. I love to help and see students pursue higher education and, in turn, fall in love with the college experience and opportunities that Campbellsville University has to offer.

What do you love about Campbellsville University?

I love that a small town in Kentucky can be so diverse and so interesting. At Campbellsville you will encounter so many people from different walks of life and from countries you may have never even heard of. Those individuals that you meet will talk differently, and eat things that you’ve never even known was possible to make but in an amazing way you will connect like never before and see not just differences but similarities. I now have friends scattered all over the world—from Mongolia to Bolivia—and in between. I also love that professors here are more than just a name at the top of your syllabus or a mono-tone voice squawking at you from the front of an amphitheater style classroom. Instead, professors and other faculty/staff members want to get to know you and they make you a priority. This really helps foster a comfortable learning environment where you feel at home.
