2008 Tiger Marching Band Schedule

FIRST:
Fill out and send in a Tiger Marching Band application.  Simply print out, fill out and mail back to the address at the bottom of the form.

AUDITIONS:
Saturday, April 5 and Saturday, April 26.  You only need to come to ONE.  You must call or e-mail in advance to reserve a place on the date you wish to attend.  270-789-5527 or email Jennifer Tinnell

TIME:
Sessions will begin at 10:00am and will end around noon (EST) 

WHERE:
Band room, Room 200, in Gosser Fine Arts Center on the campus of Campbellsville University. 

WHAT TO BRING:
Wear comfortable clothing.  We will provide flags/poles for everyone however, if you wish to demonstrate your abilities on rifle/saber, please bring your own equipment.  

WHAT TO PREPARE:
Plan to demonstrate a routine of approximately one minute on flag and on any weapon in which you are interested.  This can be something you have done before as part of a routine for your high school.  It is not required that you bring an audio recording of the music but you are welcome to do so.  Plan to demonstrate some basic competencies in marching and basic rudimentary work on all equipment on which you are auditioning. 

WHAT ELSE:
The audition will conclude with a group session in which all participants will learn a short routine and then be evaluated in group performance of the routine.  Uniform measurements will be taken of all participants on the day you audition.
