Welcome to the School of Education at Campbellsville University! We are so pleased to host the NCATE Board of Examiners for both the off-site and on-site reviews this year. We trust that the team will find that the evidence presented indicates our commitment to the NCATE standards and the Continuous Improvement (CI) model. We have found the new CI model to be richly engaging and beneficial.
Our primary goal in the School of Education is to advance scholars who are competent, caring, and qualified and who can positively impact student learning. Our theme, Empowerment for Learning, frames our work in the preparation of educator candidates. We are dedicated to the preparation of candidates who are empowered with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be effective servant leaders in classrooms, schools, communities, and throughout the world. Our outstanding programs are built on a tradition of excellence in educator preparation.
