The percussion studio at Campbellsville University strives to develop musicianship and technical proficiency in both performance and pedagogy in all styles and idioms of music. The percussion curriculum is developed with a comprehensive approach, involving the study of all core percussion instruments as well as world percussion styles and techniques. Students will become equipped with the proper skills needed to secure a successful music career in the future.
Applied lessons are available at both the undergraduate and graduate level (one or two hours of credit) for students seeking the following degrees: BA, BM, MA, MM, or Music Minor. Applied lessons may be taken for an elective by non-percussion majors or minors upon prior approval from the percussion professor.
