Students will have flexibility for entering the Program at different times of the year. Core nursing courses will be offered throughout the year and the student may enter at any point in time by enrolling with the University and with the School of Nursing. As a student for the RN to BSN Program, you must supply specific information to enroll in the Program. This information should be submitted at least two weeks before the beginning of any semester in order to process the data and ensure placement into the courses that you select.
Because of the nature of the RN-to-BSN Program, the student must verify work experience as a registered nurse. New graduates may apply if employed at least 20 hours per week as a registered nurse. Class discussion is enriched by the diverse expertise of the students at this level of your education. New graduates who have not yet received their license may also apply, but will take non-nursing courses until the licensure process is completed. (See Curriculum Plan for non-nursing courses associated with this degree.)
The admissions process is as easy as 1-2-3!
1. One Application Does it All!
Application to the University and the BSN Program
Submit an application to Campbellsville University for admission to the University. This step must be completed even if you have been a student here before, since you must declare a new major: BSN. By submitting your application online, you will not be required to pay the $25.00 non-refundable admission fee or you can download a copy and send the completed form as indicated. Click here for online application.
2. One Transcript from Each School Attended!
Provide one official copy of all transcripts from each college or university that you have attended previously.
One copy should be directed to the Admissions Office:

1 University Dr., UPO 782
Campbellsville, KY 42718
3. Provide Your Licensure Information
By providing your registered nurse licensure information in the BSN application, you will enable us to verify your licensure. If your state has special requirements for obtaining verification of licensure, we may contact you for additional information, as needed.
After evaluation of submitted materials, you will receive confirmation of acceptance into the RN-to-BSN Program from the Dean of the School of Nursing in an email. You will then be contacted by an advisor who will assist you in preparing a program plan and registering for classes.
