Campbellsville University’s theater is currently under the direction of Starr  Garrett. Mrs. Garrett has received a B.A. in Theater Arts at Palm Beach Atlantic  University in Palm Beach, FL and a MA in Communication with emphasis in  Acting and Directing for Theater from Regent University in Virginia Beach,  VA. She has recently received her MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard  College in Plainfield, VT.

Matt Nall is the Assistant to the Director of Theater at Campbellsville University. He attended CU from 2005 to 2009, Majoring in English and Pastoral Ministries. Matt takes care of day-to-day operations in the Theater Department at Campbellsville University, and acts as Shop Foreman during show preparation. He met his beautiful wife, Tasha, at CU in 2005. They had their handsome son, Piper, during the Summer of 2013.
Outside of CU, Matt is a drummer at a local Campbellsville church, is involved in several national worship projects, and is passionate about worship in the local church at large.

Matt Hodge has dedicated his life to the fusion of music into the performing arts. Matt has received both a B.A. and M.A. in Music from Campbellsville University, and is completing a M.F.A in Music Composition from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

As a professional instructor, musician and composer, Matt has worked with Grammy and Emmy nominees from around the country. Matt has sold/performed music in 34 states and 21 countries spanning five continents. He has taught music and musical theater at University of Kentucky's Broadway Bound, Academy For Creative Excellence, Governor Scholar Program (guest lecturer at Centre College and Bellarmine University), Lindsey Wilson College, Kentucky Theatre Conservatory, Kentucky Classic Arts, and Stage Right Acting. Matt has scored films that have been official selections at South By Southwest, Woodstock, World Independent Film Expo, and international festivals in Tokyo, Paris, Dublin, Rio, and Hamburg. His music research was presented at the 2009 national mathematic conference MathFEST, and most recently was accepted into the 2014 International Arts in Society Conference in Rome, Italy. Matt was ranked as one of the top 10 instrumentalists in the country by GMA’s 2009 Music Competition, and recently ranked in 2013 as a finalist and semi-finalist in two different International film score competitions.

Nathan is a graduate of the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and has dedicated a majority of his life to the Arts. A seasoned Musical Theatre performer and multi-dimensional performer and artist, Nathan enjoys singing, dancing, and acting on a professional, as well as personal level.

Nathan is currently working for the Campbellsville University Theatre Dept. and is a professional ballroom dancer and instructor. He has taught acting and dance at the University of Kentucky's Broadway Bound summer program, Ballet Winchester and for the Cincinnati School of Creative and Performing Arts Summer Intensives. He has spent several summers teaching and directing Shakespeare at the former Lexington Shakespeare Festival, as well as performing in multiple productions on the festival's main stage. He was the lead choreographer for the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games Opening Ceremony and has been a featured entertainer at a production of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He is also the recipient of the best actor award for an international film festival, and helped choreograph musical reviews at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival.
