Founded in 1992 by Dr. David McCullough, the Tiger Drumline performs as a part of the Tiger Marching Band. The drumline is comprised of approximately 10-15 music and non-music majors and any student is eligible to audition. The Tiger Drumline, along with the Tiger Marching Band, has established a strong tradition of excellence and success.  

In just the last three years, the Tiger Drumline has included members who have also marched with the following groups: Cadets (center snare), U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, Rhythm X, Carolina Crown, Colts, Southwind, Troopers, Marion Glory, Great Lakes Percussion, East 80 Percussion, and Speed Percussion. In addition, members have instructed the following groups: Blue Knights (Tenor Tech), East 80 Percussion (Battery Caption Head), and Speed Percussion (Director).

Participation: Any student may audition.

Performances: As a part of the Tiger Marching Band, members will perform at several home football games and an occasional away game in the fall. In addition, members will perform in exhibition at area high school band contests.
