Vince Gill to perform at Ransdell Chapel March 26 in athletic fundraising initiative

In an effort to raise money for Campbellsville University's current athletic fundraising initiative, a special performance by country music Hall of Fame artist Vince Gill will be at Ransdell Chapel  Friday, March 26 at 7 p.m. EST.

"Our campus and community are buzzing with excitement," Chuck Vaughn, Big Maroon Club director and major gifts officer at Campbellsville University, said.

Vaughn said the proceeds from the performance will help add turf and lights to the football field, and lights on the baseball field.

Everyone is encouraged to attend; there are three ticket packages to choose from.

"The $100 tickets include a seat up front, and the opportunity to attend a special reception with Vince after the concert," Vaughn said. He added that there are $50 tickets available that will guarantee seats in a special reserved section, and the general admission tickets are $35.
