Young Alumni Giving

Campbellsville University Alumni: Celebrating the Legacy of 10,000 Stories!

Continue the Legacy by Joining the quest, “Ten for a Tiger!”

“For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of God’s people, but it is also over flowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”
2 Corinthians 9:12

What exactly is “Ten for a Tiger?”

“Ten for a Tiger” is a $10 donation to the Scholarship Fund. It’s designed for our young alumni, many of whom are buying homes, paying off student loans and starting families. The ultimate goal is to increase the alumni giving percentage.

Why are young alumni gifts crucial to CU and the alumni giving percentage? Does $10 make a difference?

The alumni giving percentage is a reflection of how many alumni are giving to CU annually and it’s taken into account when foundations consider supporting CU through gifts and services, when we apply for grant, and when we are considered for a ranking through U.S. News and World Report. In other words, if our own alumni are investing in CU, others are willing to support us as well.

If you received financial aid during your time at CU, it was because of dedicated alumni and friends who chose to give back to CU.

Now, it’s your turn. Currently, only 12% of alumni are giving back to CU annually. Our goal is to double that number by June 30, 2011. Can you help us reach 25%? Think of what an impact our 10,000 alumni could make if each gave at least $10 to join “Ten for a Tiger.”
