CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University Theater and Town Hall Productions will be presenting “An Enemy Of The People” at the Russ Mobley Theater in the Alumni Building on campus at 114 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky.

“An Enemy of the People” was written by Henrik Ibsen and adapted by Arthur Miller. In this adaptation of the play, Dr. Thomas Stockmann is a small-town physician who realizes that the local tourist destination, a hot spring, is dangerously contaminated.
Thomas warns his brother Peter, the town’s mayor; Peter, however, is more concerned with cashing in on the spring than ensuring public safety. In order to keep the spring open, Peter and the town council destroy Thomas’ reputation as he tries to tell the public of his discovery.

The play will be performed on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 26 at 2:30 p.m.
