The purpose of the Summer Camps and Conferences program at Campbellsville University is to provide a Christian atmosphere where a variety of groups can come to our campus, use our facilities, and leave knowing that Campbellsville University is a place where the administration, faculty, and staff truly care. The CU facilities are perfect for:

Youth Basketball Camp

Ages: Boys ages 7-14

Dates and times: May 22-25, 2017; 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Description: The Campbellsville basketball camp is designed to be a fun basketball learning environment and for boy campers of various level experiences where they can learn and develop in all areas of basketball. The camp will instill the proper fundamentals of the game with an emphasis on positive attitude and sportsmanship. There will be daily competitions, live games, contests and more. Each camper receives a camp shirt and daily/weekly awards. Awards given within each group. Campers will participate 5-on-5, 3-on-3, 1-on-1, hot shot and more.

Price: $100 per camper; $180 for two campers in the same household.

Theater Summer Camp

Ages: 1st through 9th graders in the 2016-17 school year

Dates and times:
Camp Week: May 29-June 2, 2017
Auditions-Fri April 28th, 2pm-5pm & Sat April 29th 2pm-3pm
(early bird registration ends April 22nd)
Final Rehearsals: June 5-8
Performances: June 9-12

Description: Your children will get Live theater experience, arts education, team building, and memories to last a lifetime! Participants must register to attend the camp in order to audition. This year’s production will be an adaptation of Wizard of Oz Jr. where a young girl named Dorothy is transported to the Land of Oz. She sets out on a quest to the find the wizard of Oz who can take her back home. Along the way she encounters a scarecrow, a lion, a tin-man, flying monkeys, munchkins, and more!

Price: $125 early bird special, if $50 deposit per child received by April 28th. $150 April 29th & beyond. $100 each additional sibling. Balance due May 29.

  • During Camp Week children are welcome to bring their lunch or purchase the meal of the day (provided by local vendors) for $4/day. Specifics vendors are listed on the registration form.
  • Wizard of Oz t-shirts can be ordered for $15
  • DVDs of our production will be available for purchase. $10-1st copy & $5-each additional.

Lady Tiger Basketball Camp

Ages: Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School Divisions

Description: “Resident” Camp fees include: camp T-shirts for ALL, 6 meals, lodging on campus or local hotel (coach’s pick), coach’s gift, and game fees- officials for 7 games. The “Non-Resident” Camp fees include: camp T-shirts for ALL, coach’s gift, and game fees-officials for 7 games.

Price: “Resident” Camp Fees are $195 per player and “Non-Resident” Camp Fees are $95 per player.

Registration deadline: A $50 nonrefundable deposit per player will be due June 1, 2017

Kids College

Ages: 3rd through 8th grade

Description: Kids College provides students in third through eighth grade with opportunities to broaden the scope of their interests and interact with other outstanding young people. Topics include Cool Scientist, Cooking Up a Storm, Sharp Shooting Archery, Amazing Art, Microsoft Office Fun and Computer Programming for Kids.

Chamber Music Camp

Ages: Rising 8th through 12th graders

Dates and times: June 4-6, 2017, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

Description: The 2017 Campbellsville University Chamber Music Camp is open to all high school woodwind, brass, string, piano, steel band, guitar, and vocal students, rising 8th graders through outgoing seniors. Campers will be placed in chamber ensembles and have rehearsal sessions with CU School of Music faculty, individual and group practice times, master classes, sessions in music theory and history, evening concerts, and a final recital featuring the student chamber ensembles. All campers will be provided music and meals. Campers can choose to commute to campus or stay in the dorms.

Price: $130 Resident; $100 Commuter.

Fighting Tiger Football Camp

Ages: 9th through 12th grade high school football players

Date: June 17, 2017

Description: The camp is designed for 9th through 12 grade high school football players to fine tune their football skills; offensive and defensive skill positions. Need to bring football cleats and tennis shoes, practice jersey, mouthpiece, and quarterbacks bring balls.

Price: $40, due May 30, 2017, non-refundable; $30 for six or more from same school

Centri-Kid Camps

Description: CentriKid is an overnight camp for 3rd–6th graders to experience the time of their lives and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ!  Camps are staffed by college and seminary students who can’t wait to hang out with your kids and love to share Christ through every aspect of camp! At CentriKid, we promise to free your hands of all the little distractions associated with kids ministry.  For one week out of the year, hand us the clipboard.  We’ll handle lunch, plan Bible Study, set up Recreation, organize leaders, and lead Worship sessions. You, along with your other leaders, have one main job: make every minute count.  We want to help you build life-changing relationships in ministry at church and at CentriKid!
