International Student Orientation

All new international students should plan to participate in International Student Orientation.

Thursday, August 17

5 p.m.- Airport shuttles will meet students at the airport

6:30 p.m.- Welcome to CU!

Friday, August 18

9 a.m.- Airport shuttles will meet students at the airport, then at designated hotels

10:30 a.m.- Welcome to CU!

10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Walmart Shopping Shuttle, Meet at Stapp Hall

Time To Be Determined- Undergraduate Academic Advising and Scheduling in the BASC

2 p.m. to 4 p.m.- Walmart Shopping Shuttle, Meet at Stapp Hall

7 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Ice Cream Social at CGE

Saturday, August 19

9 to 11 a.m.- CGE Compass in the SAC (required for all International Students, including ESL students)

11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Shopping at The Outlets of the Bluegrass in Simpsonville

Sunday, August 20

1:30 to 3:30 p.m.- Enrollment and Immigration Check-in on Stapp Lawn

Monday, August 21

Campus-wide New Student Orientation (see official schedule)

10 a.m.- ESL Testing

Tuesday, August 22

Campus-wide New Student Orientation (see official schedule)

Wednesday, August 23

1 p.m.- ESL Orientation and Registration

Sunday, August 20 through Saturday, August 26

Welcome Week

Monday, August 28

6 to 8 p.m.- CGE Welcome Party and dinner in the SAC. This casual party will be for new and returning international students! Sign up here
