CGE Guidebook
Whether you are a freshman who just came to CU or a senior who has been here for several years, we know you may have questions. CGE has prepared this guidebook to help you find your way as you navigate through your university journey.
We have also prepared special information for students who need help getting a driver’s license, bank account, social security card, and more. Check out the links on the side and be sure to take a look at the resource library. We are continually updating this page with new useful information.
Airport Shuttle
CGE offers an airport shuttle for all international students at the beginning and end of each semester.

Shopping Shuttle
CGE offers a shuttle to Walmart and the Green River Plaza on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the academic year. Shuttles are offered on Wednesdays during the summer and school breaks.
Shuttles will depart from Stapp Hall at the scheduled time and return from the Walmart parking area one hour later.
Students will be required to check-in before boarding the shuttle at Stapp Hall.
- All participants must agree to follow the site rules listed in the CU Student Handbook.
- All participants must sign in to join in this event.
Shuttle Schedule
- Monday- 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Wednesday- 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Friday- 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Local Transportation
Sometimes students have personal business off-campus and need transportation. CGE is now providing a limited local transportation service to help you with these needs.
- Bank
- Doctor
- Dentist
- Eye care
- Etc.
Locations should be within 15 minutes of campus and the trip must be business-focused. This service is not for transportation to dining or fun activities.
If student business will take longer than 30 minutes, students may be left at the business and collected later.
Students should schedule transportation by contacting Kasey at kaboone@campbellsville.edu.
Social Security Assistance
CGE will also provide transportation to the local Social Security Administration office. Please coordinate your transportation to apply for a social security number with staff at the CGE reception desk.
Driver’s License Assistance
CGE will offer driver’s license assistance at the beginning of each semester. We will also offer 1 additional trip each month.
Please coordinate your transportation with staff at the CGE reception desk.
Kitchen Use
The Diversity House has offered to allow international students to use their kitchen to make meals.
Students should make reservations with Wanda Washington to use the kitchen.
- Email Wanda at wewashington@campbellsville.edu.
- Type KITCHEN RESERVATION in the subject.
- Include your name, the name of everyone who will be using the kitchen, and the requested date and time.
- You must send your reservation email at least one week in advance.
The Diversity House is next to Gosser Fine Arts Center and across the street from Campus Security.
Remember to clean up after yourself before you leave the kitchen.
