Are You Ready?
The Center for Global Engagement (CGE) is here to help you prepare to come to Campbellsville University. Please use this checklist as you make your plans.
Travel
Plan to arrive on campus on August 17 or 18. Athletes should contact their coach to find out their arrival date.
CGE will be providing airport shuttles on August 17 at 5 p.m. and August 18 at 9 a.m. We will also be providing a special check-in time for students arriving on their own or with family.
You must purchase a ticket to ride the shuttle to campus. The cost of the ticket will be $50. (*you can find our cancellation policy on the website.)
Please purchase your ticket after you have made your flight arrangements so that you get a ticket for the correct time. All flights should be scheduled to arrive at least 1 hour before the scheduled shuttle time.
If you need to arrive the day before, we recommend that you stay at the Tru Hotel at the Louisville airport. We will meet students who stay overnight at the hotel after completing the morning airport pickup.
If you stay at another hotel you should plan to meet us back at the airport at 9 a.m.
When you arrive on campus, CGE staff will be available to meet you, help you find your dorm, and answer any questions you may have. We are excited to welcome you to CU!

Some students like to purchase bedding and other things for their dorms before they arrive.
For the fall semester, CU has partnered with Dormify to help you get the things you need. You have the option to order from Dormify and they will ship your things directly to CU. If you are going to use this service, please place your order no later than July 15! Check out their website here.

Tuition
You should pay for your first semester before the semester begins.
Email your enrollment counselor for information about how much you should pay.
You can contact the Business Office for information about how to pay online, or you can send a wire transfer.
This document will also give you additional information about your payment options and how to send a wire transfer to the university.
Enrollment
You will be enrolled in your classes after your visa is approved.
Send a copy of your visa to your enrollment counselor as soon as possible. We will contact you after your visa is received.
If you are unable to complete the enrollment process before you arrive, we will schedule time for you to complete this process when you arrive on campus.
The enrollment process will begin in July (fall semester entrance) or December (spring semester entrance).

What is the town like?
Campbellsville is a small town in the center of Kentucky. There are some local shopping options for your daily needs and a welcoming downtown area with shops and places to eat. Campbellsville is about an hour and a half from three of the major cities in Kentucky- Louisville, Lexington, and Bowling Green- and CGE will provide trips to these locations on weekends throughout the semester. Campbellsville is located close to Green River Lake, which is a fun place to relax and hike.
