Film Major (37 Hours)

This program requires the completion of one semester spent at the L.A. Film Studies Center (separate application process and costs, www.cccuglobaled.org)*

  • FLM 250 Film Appreciation – 3 hours
  • FLM 300 Foundations of Screenwriting – 3 hours
  • FLM 336 Editing Theory and Practice – 3 hours
  • FLM 400 Film Directing –  3 hours
  • FLM 430 Narrative Film Productions –  3 hours

ELECTIVE COURSES (6 hours – select two)

  • FLM 351 Screen Acting – 3 hours
  • FLM/CHS 337 Theology in Film – 3 hours
  • MAC 375 Digital Media Production – 3 hours

Film Minor – 21 Hours

The Film Minor is simply the completion of all of the above, minus the 16 hours earned at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center.
