The Professional Pipe Welding program is a robust and highly specialized 8 month program
Students will master directional circumference manipulation on a variety of pipe sizes using the SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding processes in 5G and 6G welding positions using a variety of techniques and filler materials.
The students will also learn related pipe code from the AWS – API 1104 code and ASTM specifications for piping and tubing.
Students will take guided bend tests at the end of each 8 week bi-term to prepare for certification testing at the end of the program.
